OF FORT COLLINS DIRECTING THE
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO CLOSE
OUT THE FUND FOR STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 66
AND TRANSFER THE BALANCE THEREIN
TO THE SURPLUS AND DEFICIENCY FUND
WHEREAS, heretofore, a fund for Street Improvement District No 66
was created, and
WHEREAS, all outstanding bonds issued by the City in connection with
said Improvement District have been paid and retired, and
WHEREAS, a balance of SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS
($7,215) remains in said fund, and
WHEREAS, Section 20 6(b) of Article V of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins provides that when outstanding securities for special improve-
ment districts have been fully paid, any balance on hand to the credit of
the district is to be transferred to the surplus and deficiency fund
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed
to close the fund for Street Improvement District No 66 and to transfer
the balance of SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($7,215) on hand
in said fund to the surplus and deficiency fund and to pay any deficiency
in said fund from the surplus and deficiency fund
Section 2 Any amount received on account of Street Improvement
District No 66 in the future shall be paid into the surplus and deficiency
fund
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
5th day of December, A D 1978
