OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LOVELAND FOR
THE FAIR AND EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF THE
BURDEN OF COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH IMPROVEMENTS
TO BE MADE AT THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland recognize the need
for construction and reconstruction of additional facilities at the Fort
Collins-Loveland Airport, and
WHEREAS, Fort Collins is willing to issue its sales tax revenue bonds,
hereinafter referred to as "Bonds", for the purpose of providing necessary
funds for the above needs and for making long-term arrangements for the
financing of T-hangars and other improvements heretofore temporarily
financed, and
WHEREAS, Loveland recognizes the future value to Loveland of all of
the projects to be undertaken with the proceeds of the sale of the Bonds,
and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared whereby each of the Cities
will bear its fair share of the burden of paying for such projects
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager and the City Clerk be, and they hereby are,
authorized to execute the agreement with the City of Loveland for the fair
and equitable distribution of the burden of costs associated with improve-
ments to be made at the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement be, and it hereby is,
approved and accepted by the City Council
