OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
SETTING FORTH THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS' INTENT
TO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE ISSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS TO FINANCE A PROJECT FOR
AIRWEST HELICOPTERS, INC
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has heretofore, by resolution
adopted March 31, 1981, expressed an intent to effect the issuance of
industrial development revenue bonds pursuant to the Colorado County and
Municipal Development Revenue Bond Act constituting Article III, Title 29,
Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended (the "Act") to finance the
purchase of two buildings and to finance acquisition and construction of
improvements thereto and equipment therefor to be used for fixed base
airport operations (the "Project") to be owned by Airwest Helicopters, Inc
(the "Company"), and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the resolution passed by the Council of the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, the Council of the City of Loveland,
Colorado, authorized the City of Loveland, Colorado, to effect the issuance
of industrial development revenue bonds to finance the project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Collins concludes that
it is more appropriate for the industrial development revenue bonds to be
issues by the City of Loveland, Colorado
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 The City of Fort Collins shall terminate any effort to
effect the issuance of industrial development revenue bonds to finance the
project
Section 2 All orders, by-laws and resolutions, or parts thereof, in
conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed This repealer shall not
be construed to revive any order, by-law or resolution, or part thereof,
heretofore repealed
