OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT PROVIDING FOR PRELIMINARY DESIGN
SERVICES RELATIVE TO IMPROVEMENTS IN CITY PARK
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1981 , the citizens of the City of Fort Collins
approved a bond issue for improvements to several parks, and
WHEREAS, a professional services contract has been prepared, said
contract to initiate certain design services for improvements at City Park
at a cost of Twenty One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($21 ,300 ) , and
WHEREAS, the award of a professional services contract in excess of
$20,000 requires approval by Council under the CPM/CS guidelines, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins wishes to award the
preliminary design services contract to Engineering Professionals, Inc
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a contract with Engineering Professionals, Inc , for the provision of
design services relative to improvements at City Park including the
design of a combination mens/wom ens toilet facility and storage building
adjacent to the ballfields, improvements of the dugouts, bleachers, and
pressbox for the south ballfield, the design of a toilet facility on the
east side of City Park, the evaluation of possible improvements to the
bathhouse, concession stand and ticket area at the Outdoor Pool, the civil
engineering design of all the traffic flow improvements as recommended in
the "Transplan Study" dated February, 1981 , and estimated costs of all
such improvements Furthermore, payments under said contract shall
not exceed Twenty One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($21 ,300 )
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of Au ust 1981
