OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION
THE HORSETOOTH ROAD STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #76
WHEREAS, the City invited bids for construction of street improve-
ments, storm drains, bridges railroad crossings and relocation of utili-
ties for the Horsetooth Improvement District #76, and
WHEREAS, the bids have been received pursuant to the aforesaid invi-
tation and the period for receiving bids has now closed, and
WHEREAS, the low bid received by the City for the construction con-
tract for said Improvement District #76 was submitted by Flatiron Paving
Company in the amount of $268,770 74, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
the contract for said construction be awarded to the low bidder
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a contract with Flatiron Paving Company for the construction of street
improvements, storm drains, bridges, railroad crossings and relocation of
utilities for the Horsetooth Improvement District #76 , said contract
to be in the total amount of $286,770 74
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
20th day of July, 1982
