OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY OF LOVELAND FOR THE LEASE/PURCHASE OF
A POLICE COMPUTER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has entered into a lease/purchase
agreement with the Merit Financial Corporation for the purchase of a
Police Computer System, consisting of the P 0 S S E hardware and software
packages, to improve the recordkeeping functions of the Police Department,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Loveland desires to enter into a lease/purchase
agreement with the City of Fort Collins providing for the joint acquisition
of the hardware and software components of said Police Computer System, to
improve the recordkeeping functions of the Loveland Police Department,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the City of Loveland desire to
enter into an agreement which sets forth the terms and conditions under
which the parties will jointly pay for the lease/purchase of said Police
Computer System
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into
an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Loveland for the lease/
purchase of a Police Computer System
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of August, 1982
