OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY OF LOVELAND FOR THE JOINT USE AND
OPERATION OF A POLICE COMPUTER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has entered into a lease/purchase
agreement with the Merit Financial Corporation for the purchase of a
Police Computer System, consisting of the P 0 S S E hardware and software
systems to improve the recordkeeping functions of the Police Department,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the City of Loveland have
entered into a lease/purchase agreement concerning the ownership of
the hardware and software components of said Police Computer System,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the City of Loveland desire to
enter into an agreement which provides for the joint use, operation
and maintenance of said Police Computer System
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to enter
into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Loveland for the
purpose of providing for the joint use, operation and maintenance of
a Police Computer System
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of August, 1982
