OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN
OF WELLIi4GTON FOR THE PROVISION OF BUILDING
INSPECTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, Title 29 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, as amended, en-
courages local governments to cooperate and contract with one another for
the purpose of regulating the development of land, including the joint
exercise of building and related regulations, and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1981 , the Town of Wellington and the City of
Fort Collins entered into a cooperative agreement with one another for Fort
Collins to provide, on a fee basis, building inspection, plan examination
and consulting services for Wellington, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the Town of Wellington desire to
enter into a new agreement, which would allow Fort Collins to continue to
provide such building inspection services , effective from September
16 , 1982 until December 31, 1983 , unless sooner terminated as provided
under the terms of said agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City,
to enter into an agreement with the Town of Wellington for the provision of
building inspection, plan examination and consulting services, on the basis
of a fee of Twenty Dollars ($20 00) per hour (and not to exceed 50% of any
individual permit fee) plus mileage, provided that Wellington agrees to
indemnify and insure Fort Collins from any damage or injury whatsoever
arising out of the performance of said agreement, which agreement shall be
in effect for a term to run from September 16, 1982 until December 31,
1983
Passed and adopted at a regular Teeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 17th day of August, A D 1982
