OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH
EMPIRE LABORATORIES, INC FOR LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, professional laboratory testing services regarding the City' s
Sludge Management Facilities are needed during the term of construction of
said facilities, and
WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Black &
Veatch, professional engineers, and Orville E Madsen & Son, Inc have
all approved of the engagement, by the City, of Empire Laboratories, Inc
for the performance of said testing services, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interest of the City that Empire Laboratories, Inc be
engaged to perform said testing services
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and em-
powered to enter into an agreement with Empire Laboratories, Inc for the
performance of laboratory testing services with regard to the City' s Sludge
Management Facilities all as set forth in the scope of services provided
therein, with said services not to exceed a total cost of twenty-nine
thousand dollars ($29,000 00)
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins this 5th day of October, A D 1982
