Home My WebLink About1983-209-12/20/1983-AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LOVELAND AND THE FORT COLLIN RESOLUTION 83-209 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LOVELAND AND THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND AIRPORT AUTHORITY WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have acquired certain property in Larimer County for airport purposes, and HHEREAS, such property has been designated as the Fort Collins- Loveland Airport, and WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have created the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport Authority, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland to lease unto the Airport Authority their property known as the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport, and WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have negotiated the terms of a Lease Agreement with the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport Authority upon terms suitable to all parties NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows Section 1 The Mayor is authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement between the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland and the Fort Collins- Loveland Airport Authority, leasing unto the Airport Authority for a period of five (5) years, the property known as the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport Section 2 The terms of such lease to the Airport Authority shall provide that the Airport Authority shall have possession of the property from January 1, 1984 to December 31, 1988, upon the condition that the Airport Authority shall pay as rent for the property the total sum of One Million Three Hundred and Seventy-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($1,378,900) in semiannual installments of One Hundred and Thirty-Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Dollars ($137,890) payable on April 1 and October 1 of each year until expiration of the Lease Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 20th day of December, 1983 Ma o ATTEST City Clerk
