OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING FINDINGS ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING
AND ZONING BOARD DECISION RELATING TO THE
FOX MEADOWS COMPLEX I PUD - PRELIMINARY PLAN
WHEREAS, the Applicant, by and through architect John Dengler, sub-
mitted a preliminary plan for the project known as Fox Meadows Complex I
PUD which the Planning and Zoning Board approved on October 24, 1983,
and
WHEREAS, a group of concerned neighbors and citizens appealed said
decision to the City Council , and
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Fort Collins City Council held on
December 6, 1983, the Council reviewed the records from the Planning and
Zoning Board proceedings and considered additional evidence as submitted by
all concerned parties, and
WHEREAS, the Council determined after careful review and full con-
sideration of all issues raised by the parties that the proposed project
lacked social compatibility per the required criteria as outlined in the
"All Development Criteria" set forth in the Land Development Guidance
System
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the decision of the Planning and Zoning Board approving the
Fox Meadows Complex I PUD be, and the same hereby is, reversed
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of De ce ber, 1983
