OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONVEY AN UNDIVIDED 50%
INTEREST IN CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN BLOCK 31, FROM
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS TO THE COUNTY OF LARIMER
WHEREAS, on November 9, 1982, the City of Fort Collins (hereinafter
referred to as "City" ) entered into an agreement with the County of
Larimer (hereinafter referred to as "County") relative to the purchase of
parcels 10 and 12 in Block 31, and
WHEREAS, said agreement stipulated that the City would take title to
the properties at the time of closing and transfer an undivided 50%
interest to the County upon receiving (a) the proceeds from the issuance
of sales tax revenue bonds for the financing of the purchase, construction,
and operations of the parking lot on Block 31 , and (b) the County' s
commitment to reimburse the City for its share of the principal and in-
terest due on the sales tax revenue bonds, and
WHEREAS, both conditions have been met and the provisions of said
agreement requiring the transfer and conveyance of the undivided 50%
interest for said parcels of property to Larimer County can now be exer-
cised, and
WHEREAS, said conveyance will be in the best interests of the City of
Fort Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor is hereby authorized to convey an undivided 50% in-
terest in the following described property to the County
All of Lots Thirty-One (31) , Thirty-Two (32) , Thirty-Eight (38) and
Thirty-Nine (39) to Block Thirty-One (31) in the City of Fort Collins,
Larimer County, Colorado
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
18th day of January, A D 1983
