OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCURE THE
SERVICES OF SINNETT BUILDERS WITHOUT FOLLOWING
NORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURES FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CORRECTING THE HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARDS AT
THE CITY'S OUTDOOR POOL BATHHOUSE
WHEREAS, there currently exists hazardous conditions at the outdoor
pool bathhouse in the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of
Fort Collins to correct said hazardous condition as soon as possible,
and
WHEREAS, §2-60(a) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins allows the
Purchasing Agent to negotiate certain purchases for services where it is
not practical to secure the same by the formal bid procedure, and
WHEREAS, Sinnett Builders Company is available to provide the neces-
sary services immediately
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to procure
the services of the Sinnett Builders Company at a cost of no more than
Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000 00) without following the normal bid
procedure for the purpose of correcting health and safety hazards at
the outdoor pool bathhouse
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 15th day of March, 1983
