OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION
TO ELERY WILMARTH FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS
TO THE COMMUNITY AS COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, Elery Wilmarth served as a Councilmember representing the
City at-large from April 10, 1979 until April 12, 1983, and
WHEREAS, Mr Wilmarth served as Assistant Mayor for the City of Fort
Collins from April 1 , 1980 until April 14, 1981, and
WHEREAS, Mr Wilmarth also served as Mayor for the City of Fort
Collins from April 14, 1981 until April 6, 1982, and
WHEREAS, Mr Wilmarth has also contributed to this community through
his service on the Contemporary Arts Study Committee and the North and
South District Advisory Committees, and
WHEREAS, this period of time has seen great growth and change in the
City, and Elery Wilmarth was called upon to devote substantial time and
energy to the affairs of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the people of the City have benefitted greatly from the
services, counsel , and guidance of Elery Wilmarth
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City express, on behalf of the residents of the community,
its formal and sincere appreciation and gratitude to Elery Wilmarth for his
devotion and attention to the affairs of the City as Councilmember and
Mayor
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
19th day of April , A D 1983
