OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE SNOW REMOVAL HANDBOOK
AS THE CITY'S ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY
FOR SNOW AND ICE CONTROL
WHEREAS, the City staff has prepared a Snow Removal Handbook for the
purpose of providing guidance for the planned and orderly winter mainte-
nance of City streets under the operation and direction of-the Transporta-
tion Services Unit of the Department of Public Works, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins finds that said Snow
Removal Handbook is a useful administrative tool for the City with regard
to snow removal maintenance activities, and

WHEREAS, the Council recognizes that certain provisions of said
Handbook must be updated from time to time on an administrative level
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fort
Collins, the Snow Removal Handbook of the City be and hereby is approved
and adopted as the City' s administrative policy for snow and ice control ,
and that said Handbook may be updated by the staff of the City in those
particulars as are specified for update pursuant to Section 8 of said
Handbook
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of May, A D 1983
