OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERLD INTO
WITH COLORADO RURAL LEGAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE
HUMAN SERVICES TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Fort Collins has received from the
Federal Government certain revenue sharing funds, and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined to use a portion of said funds to
develop human service programs in the City, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interest of the
City to contract with other agencies for the implementation of some of
these programs, and
WHEREAS, one such agency known as Coloraao Rural Legal Services has
been recommended for funding by the Larimer Human Resource Board, the
purpose of such board being to screen human service agency applications and
recommend a coordinated human service delivery budget for Fort Collins,
Loveland, and Larimer County, and
WHEREAS, a contract has been prepared as follows in accordance with
said recommendations �.

Services - 661 of 775 low income applicants receive
full-legal assistance and representation in civil
non-fee generating cases free of charge Total
cost of this program to the City of Fort Collins
shall be $275 00 per month ($3,300 00) annually
through December 31, 1981
Special Conditions - None
WHEREAS, said agreement has been approved by the City Manager and the
City Atto► ney and the City Council oesires to approve such agreement and
authorize its execution-
NOW, THEREFORE,. BF_ IT RESGLVED BY THE_ COUNOIL OF THE_ CITY OF FORT-
COLLINS that the terins of-the agreement above referred to be, and the same
hereby are, accepted and approved

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and
they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said agreeroent for and
on behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Fort Collins at a
