OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER
COUNTY FOR THE PROVISION OF GOVERNMENT
FACILITIES AND APPROVING SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins and the Board of
County Commissioners of Larimer County agree that intergovernmental cooper-
ation is desirable to provide governmental services in the most cost
efficient manner, and
WHEREAS, the anticipated growth in both the City and the County will
create the need for additional government facilities which in many cases
can more efficiently be provided through joint planning and development,
and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared which will allow for the
planning, acquisition and development of property which will house said
government facilities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that said agreement with Larimer County be, and it hereby is,
approved by the Council of the City of Fort Collins
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to
enter into said agreement
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins this 3rd day of February 1981
