OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL ACADEMY FOR POLICE
DRIVING, INC OF TEXAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING
A POLICE DRIVING INSTRUCTORS TRAINING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the National Academy for Police Driving offers a training
program for police driving instructors which the City of Fort Collins
desires to provide for selected police officers, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is sponsoring the Police Driving
Instructors Training Program and intends to allow trainees from other
governmental entities to participate in the training and share the costs of
said program, and
WHEREAS, the participation of other governmental entities in the
Police Driving Instructors Training Program will allow the City of Fort
Collins to receive the benefits of said training while substantially
reducing the costs incurred
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an agreement witn the National Academy for Police Driving, Inc of
Texas for the purpose of conducting a Police Driving Instructors Training
Program
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 17th day of March A D I 199,
