OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
INTERGOVERNMENT4L AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITIES
OF GREELEY AND WESTMINSTER AND WELD COUNTY FOR
A POLICE DRIVING INSTRUCTORS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins intends to sponsor a Police Driving
Instructors Training Program offered by the National Academy for Police
Driving, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to allow other governmental
entities to participate in the training and to share in the costs of said
program, and
WHEREAS, intergovernmental agreements have been prepared for signature
by representatives of the Cities of Greeley and Westminster and Weld
County, and
WHEREAS, the participation of other governmental entities in this
program would enable the City of Fort Collins to benefit from the program
while substantially reducing the costs
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into intergovernmental agreements with the Cities of Greeley and West-
minster and with the County of Weld, governmental entities within the State
of Colorado, for the purpose of cooperating in a Police Driving Instructors
Training Program
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
