RESOLUTION 81-33
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN LANDS JOINTLY
TO THE CITIES OF GREELEY AND FORT COLLINS FOR THE
LOCATION OF THE CROSS TIE BETWEEN THE WATER TRANSMISSION
LINES OF GREELEY AND FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1978, the Cities of Fort Collins and Greeley,
Colorado, entered into an agreement for the purpose of constructing a cross
tie between the Greeley water transmission lines and the Fort Collins water
transmission lines, and
WHEREAS, as a part of said agreement, the real property involved was
to be deeded to the Cities of Fort Collins and Greeley jointly, and
WHEREAS, said property was erroneously deeded solely to the City of
Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins finds that said
property is not used nor intended to be used solely for the municipal
purposes of the City of Fort Collins nor secured for the sole purpose of
being used for the municipal purposes of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins finds that it is for
the best interests of the City of Fort Collins that said property be
conveyed jointly to the Cities of Fort Collins and Greeley
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City hereby authorizes and approves the execution of a
Quit Claim Deed conveying jointly to the Cities of Fort Collins and Greeley
the following described property, to-wit
That part of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 30,
Township 8 Nortn, Range 69 West of the 6th P M des-
cribed as follows
Commencing at the most Southerly point of the tract of
land described in Book 1043 at Page 439, said point
being North 81°44' East 1365 5 feet from the SW corner
of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 30, and
assuming the West line of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of
said Section 30 to bear North 1 38' East and all
bearings contained herein relative thereto, thence
North 57°16'24" East 11 11 feet to the True Point of
Beginning, said point lying on the South and East right
of way line of Colorado State Highway No 28, thence
along said South and East right-of-rjay line and along
to the left with a radius of 1697 1 feet, a central
angle of 9°37'47" , an arc distance of 285 23 feet, the
chord of said arc bears North 52016' 15" East 284 90
feet, thence South 9°14'00" West 208 23 feet, thence
North 80°46'00" West 194 44 feet to the True Point of
Beginning, Larimer County, Colorado
Passed and adopted at a regular meet ng of the City C uncil held this
