OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO LEASE CERTAIN CITY
OWNED AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY TO ELSIE SCHNEIDER
AND GARY SCHNEIDER FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
WHEREAS, the City owns and maintains a section of land located at the
southwest corner of the intersection of Interstate 25 and Prospect Road,
said property being utilized for a sludge farm, and
WHEREAS, Elsie Schneider and Gary Schneider, the present tenants on
said property, have requested permission to continue utilizing said proper-
ty for farming purposes, and
WHEREAS, insofar as the continued utilization for said property for
farming purposes is compatible with the primary utilization of said proper-
ty for sludge farm purposes, no detriment will be sustained by the City by
virtue of the proposed lease
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to enter into a one-year lease agreement, renewable for a succes-
sive one-year term upon written application made by the tenant, for a total
of three hundred twenty (320) acres of property located at the City sludge
farm with Elsie Schneider and Gary Schneider for an annual consideration
of one-quarter of the value of all crops
Passed and adopted at a regular me6tirA of the City Conncil held this
