RESOLUTION 78-34
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
COMMENDING ARVID R. BLOOM AND RICHARD M. SUINN
FOR THEIR SERVICES TO THE CITY AS MAYOR AND
ASSISTANT MAYOR DURING THE PAST YEAR
WHEREAS, Councilman Arvid R. Bloom served as Mayor
of the City of Fort Collins from April 12, 1977, until
April 4, 1978, and Councilman Richard M. Suinn served
as Assistant Mayor of the City during the same period,
and
WHEREAS, this period of time was a time of great
growth and change in the City, and the Mayor and Assistant
Mayor were required by the duties of their office to
devote substantial time to the business of the City, and
WHEREAS, both Councilman Bloom and Councilman Suinn
performed the duties of their office in exemplary fashion
and their services as Mayor and Assistant Mayor of the
City during this period were of unestimatable value to
the entire City and its citizenry, and
WHEREAS, the contributions made by Councilman Bloom
and Councilman Suinn to the City are highly deserving of
recognition by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Councilman Arvid R. Bloom and
Councilman Richard M. Suinn be and they hereby are com-
mended for their services to the City of Fort Collins
as Mayor and Assistant Mayor of the City during the
past year, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be
spread across the minutes of the City of Fort Collins
and a certified copy hereof be delivered to Councilman
Bloom and Councilman Suann.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council held this 18th day of ;y;0%4
