OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE DEPARTM1EivT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF
HIGHWAYS, STATE OF COLORADO, TO PPOVIDE FOR BRIDGE
INSPECTION PROJECTS ON 16 OFF SYSTEM, BRIDCES IN FOFT COLLINS
64HEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has submitted a letter of intent
pursuant to the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1978 to obtain
federal funds for the inspection, rating, and inventory of bridges, and
WHEREAS, the State has agreed that feaeral funds in the amount of
Six Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Tito Dollars ($6,892 00) have been made
available for 61s project with a match from the City of Fort Collins in
the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Three Dollars ($1,723 00)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and ne hereby is, authorized aria directed
to enter into an agreement with the State Department of Highways, Division
of Hignways, State of Colorado, in oraer to accomplish the above described
work with federal contributions in the amount of Six Thousand Eight Hundred
Ninety-Two Dollars ($6,892 00) and matching funds from the City of Fort
Collins in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Three Dollars
($1 ,723 00)
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 8th day of January 1980
