OF THE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LONG-TERM
LEASE ACREEMENT WITH THE SPERRY UNIVAC DIVISION
OF THE SPERRY CORPORATION FOit COMPUTER EQUIPHEHT
WHEREAS, the City requires computer equipment for utilization in
conjunction with its Managerent Information Services function, and
WHEREAS, the Sperry Univac Division of the Sperry Corporation has
proposed to the City a five-year lease and maintenance agreement which, in
the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, best
meets the needs and capabilities of the City of Fort Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 The City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to enter into a five-year lease and maintenance agreement with the
Sperry Univac Division of the Sperry Corporation under the terms of which
the City of Fort Collins would lease that certain equipment identified on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto for a term of five (5) years, commencing
January 1, 1981, subject to proper appropriation during each year of the
agreement A total monthly charge of Eleven Thousand One hundred Dollars
($11,100 00) shall be assessed for the lease of the above described equip-
ment, including appropriate maintenance thereon In successive years it is
understood maintenance fees are subject to reasonable price increases
Section 2 That the City Clerk, be and she hereby is, authorized to
attest the execution of said agreement on behalf of the City
Passed and adopted at an adjournF-d meeting of the City Council held
this 25th day of March A D 198;
