HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-162-11/17/1981-MAKING FINDINGS RELATIVE TO THE APPEAL OF RALPH AND MARY ANN JORDAN D/B/A THE COUNTRY STORE FROM THE RESOLUTION 81-162 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS MAKING FINDINGS RELATIVE TO THE APPEAL OF RALPH AND MARY ANN JORDAN d/b/a THE COUNTRY STORE FROM THE DECISION OF THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY WHEREAS, on October 7, 1981, the Liquor Licensing Authority conducted the show cause hearing for Ralph and Mary Ann Jordan d/b/a The Country Store, and WHEREAS, after hearing testimony from both the licensee and the Police Department, the Authority ordered a 3-day suspension of The Country Store' s 3 2 percent fermented malt beverage license, and WHEREAS, said licensee has appealed the decision of said Liquor Licensing Authority to the City Council , and WHEREAS, on November 3, 1981, the City Council heard said appeal reversing in part the decision of the Liquor Licensing Authority NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Council hereby finds and determines Section 1 That the Liquor Licensing Authority' s finding of a viola- tion at the establishment known as The Country Store, located at 830 South College Avenue, be, and it hereby is, upheld Section 2 That no previous complaints have been filed against the owners of the establishment or the establishment itself and, therefore, the City Council believes a letter of reprimand to be the appropriate course of action in this particular case and hereby reverses the penalty assessed by the Liquor Licensing Authority to said letter of reprimand Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 17th day of November, A D 1981 Ma or ATTEST C1ty C 1 er4r,/
