OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN LAND AND THE
GRANTING OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS TO THE
PLATTE RIVER POWER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of the Rawhide Power
Plant, the Platte River Power Authority has found it necessary to acquire
certain properties presently owned by the City of Fort Collins for the
purpose of constructing a pump station and related facilities, and
' WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of the aforementioned
pump station, it will also be necessary for the Platte River Power Author-
ity to acquire certain access easements over property presently owned by
the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins, the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000 00) represents fair and
equitable value for the acquisition of the necessary property and ease-
ments, and
WHEREAS, said property and easements can be conveyed to the Platte
River Power Authority without jeopardy to City interests or activities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized
and directed to convey for the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000 00) the
real property, permanent easements and construction easements described on
Exhibit A, attached hereto
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 3rd day of 1980
