OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE ELECTRIC SERVICE
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
LIGHT AND POWER
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins provide for the
adoption of rules and regulations applicable to electric service by the
Department of Light and Power upon approval by the Council of the City
of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, heretofore the Department of Light and Power submitted to
the City Council certain rules and regulations for electric service and the
Council by resolution approved the same, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Light and Power has recommended certain
amendments and changes in the Electric Service Rules and Regulations and
has submitted the same to the City Council for its approval , and in the
opinion of the City Council it is in the best interests of the City of Fort
Collins that such amendments be approved and adopted
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the attached amendments to the Electric Service Rules and
Regulations recommended by the Department of Light and Power be, and
the same hereby are, approved and adopted
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
19th day of August, A D 1980

Section SERVICE CONTRACT
Heading SERVICE DEPOSITS
Paragraphs 1 and 2, delete
Replace with
1 When required The City may at any time require any utility customer
to pay a service deposit if the customer has received one or more
final turn-off notices for delinquency or if the customer is unable to
provide proof of satisfactory credit history
2 Amount of Deposit The amount of the deposit shall be two (2) times
the estimated monthly bill for electrical energy to the premises
served as determined by the City
