OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING A LIAISON PERSON BETWEEN THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO AND THE U S
COUNCIL FOR THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF
DISABLED PERSONS
WHEREAS, the United Nations has proclaimed 1981 the International Year
of Disabled Persons, and
WHEREAS, the U S Council for the International Year of Disabled
Persons has requested the City Council appoint a liaison between the City
of Fort Collins and the U S Council for the International Year of Disabled
Persons, and
WHEREAS, the U S Council 's mission is to enable citizens with phys-
ical and mental disabilities to become full participants in our society
and to strengthen public understanding of the needs and potential contribu-
tions of America's 35 million citizens with disabilities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that Dorothy D Lasley be designated as the City of Fort Collins
liaison to the U S Council for the International Year of Disabled Persons
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
19th day of August, A D 1980
