OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING THE RESTATEMENT OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS GENERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT PLAN
BY DELETING THEREFROM ANY PROVISIONS RELATING
TO LONG TERM DISABILITY BENEFITS
WHEREAS, in December of 1980, the City hired the A S Hansen Company
as a consultant to prepare a restatement of the General Employees' Retire-
ment Plan, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 81-120 , the Council adopted the
restatement of the General Employees' Retirement Plan as prepared by the A
S Hansen Company, and
WHEREAS, the adopted restatement of the General Employees' Retirement
Plan contains certain provisions pertaining to long term disability bene-
fits, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 82- 3 the Council authorized the
City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Equitable Life Assurance
Company to provide long term disability benefits for City employees who,
otherwise, would have been eligible for long term disability benefits
pursuant to the General Employees' Retirement Plan
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the restatement of the General Employees Retirement Plan, as
adopted by the Council pursuant to Resolution 81-20 be, and the same
hereby is, amended by deleting therefrom any provisions relating to
long term disability benefits
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of tn^ Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 5th day of January, 1982
