MAKING FINDINGS RELATIVE TO THE APPEAL OF
NORTH COLLEGE LIQUORS FROM THE DECISION OF
THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, on October 28, 1981 , the Liquor Licensing Authority conducted
a show/cause hearing for North College Liquors, and
WHEREAS , after hearing testimony , the Authority ordered a 3-day
suspension of North College Liquors' retail liquor license, and
WHEREAS, the licensee of said establishment has appealed the decision
of the Liquor Licensing Authority to the City Council , and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1981 , the City Council heard said appeal ,
reversing in part the decision of the Liquor Licensing Authority
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Council hereby finds and determines
Section 1 That the Liquor Licensing Authority' s finding of a vio-
lation on September 11, 1981 , at the establishment known as North College
Liquors located at 814 N College Avenue be, and it hereby is, upheld
Section 2 That the City Council believes the appropriate course of
action in this particular case to be a two-day posted suspension of the
license, said suspension to take place during normal business days and
regular working hours of the establishment on consecutive days after
January 1, 1982, therefore, the City Council hereby reverses the penalty
assessed by the Liquor Licensing Authority to the aforementioned two-day
suspension
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 5th day of January, 1982
