OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF AN IDAHO NORLAND
PAINT STRIPING MACHINE AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EFFECTUATE THE PURCHASE
OF SAID MACHINE
WHEREAS, the City is currently in need of a street paint striping
machine, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering Division has, over the last month,
analysed various self-contained street painting machines and determined
that the Idaho Norland paint striping machine is the most cost efficient
unit in meeting the Traffic Division' s pavement marking needs, and
WHEREAS, Section 2-60(A) (4) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
allows the Purchasing Agent to negotiate purchases based on professional
advice
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council approves the purchase of the Idaho Norland
paint striping machine at a cost not to exceed $71,000 00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized to effectuate said purchase
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 6th day of April , 1982
