RESOLUTION 82-60
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH ORVILLE E MADSEN AND SON, INC
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SLUDGE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
WHEREAS, in April of this year bids were accepted for the construc-
tion of sludge management facilities, and
and WHEREAS, Madsen and Son, Inc was the low bidder at $7,160,000,
WHEREAS, funds are available for construction of said facilities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an agreement with Orville E Madsen and Son, Inc for the construction
of sludge management facilities , the services to be performed under
this contract include the development of the farm site through the leveling
of the fields, the development of irrigation and tailwater control , flood
control of Boxelder Creek, storage and pumping facilities for sludge, and
relocation of water lines In consideration for the work to be performed
pursuant to this contract, the City of Fort Collins will pay Orville E
Madsen and Son, Inc the sum of $7,160,000
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting this 4th day of May, 1982
