OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH BLACK & VEATCH
FOR THE PROVISION OF ENGINEERING SERVICES
RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF SLUDGE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has previously
approved the sludge disposal project, and
WHEREAS, monies have been appropriated to cover the cost of said
project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an agreement with Black & Veatch for the provision of engineering
services relative to the construction of sludge management facilities, said
services to include review of drawings and data submitted by construction
contractor, periodic visits to the site to monitor progress, preparation of
change orders as approved, revision of drawing to conform to construction
records, preparation of 0&M manual and provision of services to plant
personnel In consideration for said services, the City of Fort Collins
shall pay Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers, a sum of $455,137
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting this 4th day of May, 1982
