OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF
COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is eligible for assistance pursuant
to the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1978, specifically 23
U S C Section 130, and
WHEREAS, the City has applied for such assistance in connection with
Project No RRO 0004 (13) which deals with the installation of a four-laned
rail crossing with gate arms to control vehicular traffic on West Harmony
Road, and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for the City to enter into an agreement
between the City and the State Highway Department, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the City Manager to
execute such agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager and the City Clerk be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute an agreement between the City and the
State Department of Highways, Division of Highways, State of Colorado,
pertaining to the above-described project, more particularly described
as Project No RRO 0004 ( 13)
