OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY HANAGER TO EYECUTE
A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AS IT RELATES
TO THE FAIRWAY ESTATES BUSINESS ANNLXATION
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is in the process of annexing
certain real property within the Fairway Estates Business Annexation,
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said real property have numerous concerns
relating to City requirements, particularly requirements to connect to the
City sewer system, improvements to local streets within the properties,
improvements to the arterial streets in the area, improvements for side-
walks, curb and gutter and street lights, and requirements relating to
storm drainage of the area and costs associated with all such requirements,
and further have concerns relating to the zoning district in which the
property will be placed upon annexation to the City of Fort Collins,
and
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding has been prepared which ad-
diesses the concerns of said property owners, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has favorably re-
viewed said Memorandum
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute
the Memorandum of Understanding as it relates to the Fairway Estates
Business Annexation
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 16th day of )Qe(ceer 1980
