OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION BY THE CITY MANAGER
OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH GREENHORNE 8 O'MARA, INC
FOR THE SHEPARDSON CHANNEL DESIGN SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
the Shepardson Channel , located in the City of Fort Collins, is in need of
extensive repairs and renovations, and
WHEREAS, the said Council has further determined that it is necessary
to investigate the various solutions that may be available with regard to
the renovation and repair of said Shepardson Channel , and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to engage the services of the firm of
Greenhorne 8 O'Mara, Inc for the purpose of performing the design services
work with regard to the said Shepardson Channel for a total sum of Twenty-
One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-Four Dollars ($21,994) , and
WHEREAS, 52-66 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides that
no such contracts for services resulting in a cost to the City in excess of
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by
the City Council in an open Council meeting, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins does hereby find that
the proposed contract between the City and Greenhorne 8 O'Mara, Inc is in
the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins, and,
accordingly, should be approved
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the design services agreement between the City and Greenhorne
8 O'Mara, Inc , for the purpose of design of renovations to the Shepardson
Channel for a total sum of Twenty-One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-Four
Dollars ($21,994) is hereby approved and the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, said contract
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
21st day of June, A D 1983
