OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXERCISING AN OPTION FOR RENEWAL WITH ERICKSON,
HUNT & SPILLMAN, P C FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF AN
INDEPENDENT ANNUAL AUDIT FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No 130, 1981 , the Council of the City
of Fort Collins authorized the City Manager to enter into an agreement with
Erickson, Hunt & Spillman, P C for the performance of an independent
annual audit for the City of Fort Collins for 1981, and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided for renewal options during 1982 and
1983 for performance of the 1982 and 1983 audits respectively, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 82-98 of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins, the City exercised an option for renewal with Erickson, Hunt
& Spillman, P C for the performance of the 1982 annual audit for the City
of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, it is the considered opinion of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins, that Erickson, Hunt & Spillman, P C has in the past satis-
factorily met the needs and requirements of the City of Fort Collins,
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins considers it to be
in the best of interest of the City to exercise the option for renewal for
performance of the annual audit for 1983
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to exercise
the option for renewal with the firm of Erickson, Hunt & Spillman, P C for
the performance of an independent annual audit for the City of Fort Collins
in 1983
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the performance of the 1983 audit, the _
firm shall be paid a sum not to exceed $44,000 00
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
21st day of June, A D 1983
