OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE OF COLORADO
FOR A LAND AND WATER FUND GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is currently engaged in the develop-
ment of Overland Park in the City, and
WHEREAS, the State of Colorado, pursuant to the Land and Water Conser-
vation Fund Act of 1965, has funds available for the development of parks
and recreation sites in eligible municipalities, and
WHEREAS, the development of Overland Park by the City of Fort Collins
is a project which qualifies the City to receive funds from the Land and
Water Fund from the State of Colorado
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into an
agreement with the State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources,
Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation for funds for the development
of parks and recreation sites pursuant to the Land and Water Conservation
Fund Act of 1965, for the purpose of developing Overland Park
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
21st day of June, A D 1983
