RESOLUTION 83-128
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE
OF COLORADO FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPENDING
$25,000 OF THE CITY'S 1982-1983 FAUS GRANT FOR
THE COMMUNICATION ALTERNATIVE ANALYSIS PROJECT
WHEREAS, certain Federal funds have been made available to the City of
Fort Collins through the Federal Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) Program, and
WHEREAS, said funds may be allocated for the improvement of certain
routes on the designated urban systems which are not on any Federal-aid
system, and
WHEREAS, FAUS funds, limited to the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars (E25,000) , may be made available for an urban systems project,
identified as MG5000(4) , for preliminary engineering to do a signal study
for the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State Department of Highways
of the State of Colorado is responsible for the administration of the
aforesaid FAUS funds, and
WHEREAS, the funding for the aforesaid Federal Aid Urban System
project is one hundred percent (100%) Federal aid, limited to Twenty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($25,000) , and
WHEREAS, all non-participating costs in excess of Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000) , if any, shall be solely borne by the City, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the City of Fort
Collins that an intergovernmental agreement be entered into between the
City and the State of Colorado for the purpose of allocating and expending
the aforesaid funds , in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Colorado for the
purpose of the Joint conduct between the City and the State of an Urban
System Project, identified as MG5000(4) , for preliminary engineering to
do a signal study for the City, utilizing FAUS funds limited to the amount
of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) as the sole funding csource for
said project
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 2nd day of August, A D 1983
