OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE JEFFERSON STREET PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, the Council , by Resolution 82-105 , authorized the City
Manager to engage in the necessary activities for the evaluation, acqui-
sition and development of the Jefferson Street Parking Lot, and
WHEREAS, the staff of the City at the direction of the City Manager
has evaluated the financing of the acquisition of the Jefferson Street
Parking Lot, and
WHEREAS, the Council has already appropriated one hundred and six
thousand five hundred dollars ($106,500 00) from the Capital Projects Fund
to purchase the site for the Jefferson Street Parking Lot, and
WHEREAS, the development costs, estimated to be seventy thousand five
hundred dollars ($70,500 00) , of the Jefferson Street Parking Lot will be
appropriated from the Parking Fund in 1983, and
WHEREAS, the construction of the Jefferson Street Parking Lot is
supported by the Downtown Development Authority, the Parking Commission and
Fort Town
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the Mayor be , and he hereby is , authorized and
empowered to enter into an agreement with the Union Pacific Land Resources
Corporation which provides that the City shall
a Purchase a parcel of land along Jefferson Street in the City
of Fort Collins, said land being more particularly described
on Exhibit A, attached hereto, and
b Pay as consideration for the purchase of said property the
sum of one hundred and one thousand dollars ($101,000 00) to
be paid at the time of closing
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins, held this 5th day of October, 1982

A parcel of land, being a portion of Bloch 6 and a
portion of vacated Jefferson Street in the City of Fort Collins
in the Northwest Quarter (NW;) of Section 12, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Larimer County,
State of Colorado, bounded and described as follows
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 12,
thence along the west line of said Section and along
the east right-of-way line of College Avenue as established by
Vacation Ordinance recorded in Book 866 , Page 182, Records of
said County, South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, 1927 60
feet to a point on the northeasterly right-of-way line of Jefferson
Street as established by Vacation Ordinance recorded in Book
