OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PROVIDING FOR A CONTRIBUTION TO THE
ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
FOR THE COST OF A SPECIAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City provides the students of Colorado State University,
by and through the Associated Students of Colorado State University, with
Transfort services for a cost of two dollars ($2 00) per student per
semester, and
WHEREAS, the Council has requested that the Associated Students of
Colorado State University conduct a special election to determine if the
students approve of an increase of the Transfort fee to three dollars
($3 00) per student per semester, and
WHEREAS, the Associated Students of Colorado State University has
approved the holding of a special election for consideration of the
Transfort fee during the Fall of 1982, and
WHEREAS, the Associated Students of Colorado State University will
incur significant expenses in the conducting of said election
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City of Fort Collins agrees to contribute fifty percent
(50q) of the expenses incurred by the Associated Students of Colorado State
University in conducting said special election, provided that said contri-
bution shall not exceed seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750 00)
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
5th day of October, 1982
