OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
INTER-GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY
OF LOVELAND AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WHEREAS, the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have heretofore
entered into an Agreement with the United States of America to share
in the cost of a water pump station on the property known as the Fort
Collins-Loveland Airport, and
WHEREAS, according to the terms of that Agreement, the cities of
Fort Collins and Loveland are to reimburse to the United States of America,
no later than February 1, 1992, the sum of fifty-five thousand dollars
($55,000) , and
WHEREAS, the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have negotiated
an Agreement between the United States of America and themselves for
the advanced payment of said obligation by depositing, in escrow, a
United States security for delivery to the United States on February
1, 1992, and
WHEREAS, the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland and the United
States have agreed to enter into an Addendum to Agreement to permit
the escrowing of said funds in satisfaction of the obligation of the
cities of Fort Collins and Loveland
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
The Mayor of the City of Fort Collins is authorized to enter into
an Addendum to Agreement between the United States, Department of Energy,
Western Area Power Association, and the City of Loveland to satisfy the
cities' obligation for payment to the United States for a portion of the
costs of a water pump station purchased by the United States, located
at the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 19th day of October , 1982
