OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
FOR A PORTION OF THE JEFFERSON STREET PARKING LOT
AND OF THE JEFFERSON STREET-LINDEN STREET MINI-PARK
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to the City
of Fort Collins a lease covering a parcel of ground on the Railroad Com-
pany' s right-of-way at Fort Collins for a site for parking and park pur-
poses, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has said proposed
agreement before it and has given it careful review and consideration,
and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said City of Fort
Collins will be served by the acceptance of said agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That the terms of the agreement submitted by the Union
Pacific Railroad Company as aforesaid be, and the same hereby are, accepted
on behalf of the City
Section 2 That the City Manager of the City is hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest said
agreement and to attache to each duplicate original of said agreement a
certified copy of this Resolution
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
6th day of September, A D 1983
