OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING FIGURE GM-8 OF THE CITY PLAN PRINCIPLES AND POLICIES
TO COMPORT WITH THE NORTH COLLEGE CORRIDOR PLAN
WHEREAS,Principle GM-8 of the City Plan Principles and Policies states that the City will
promote compatible infill and redevelopment in areas within the City's Growth Management Area;
and
WHEREAS, particular areas of the City that are targeted for such redevelopment and infill
are shown on Figure GM-8 of the Principles and Policies; and
WHEREAS, this same date, the City Council has adopted Resolution 2007-032,approving
an updated North College Corridor Plan (the "Plan") as an element of City Plan; and
WHEREAS, the process of updating the Plan has highlighted the magnitude of the changes
that will result from the proposed realignment of East Vine Drive as well as other major
infrastructure improvements that will occur in and near the area of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, these and other considerations, including a market analysis done in 2005 in
conjunction with the updated Plan, indicate a need to modify the North College Redevelopment and
Infill Area, as shown in Figure GM-8, to include an additional area adjacent to the proposed
realignment of East Vine Drive, in order to reflect the opportunity for both residential and non-
residential development in such area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Figure GM-8 of the City Plan Principles and Policies,known as the Redevelopment
and Infill Map, is hereby amended to comport with the North College Corridor Plan as shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Cou of the City of Fort Co ins this 20th
