OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH LARIMER COUNTY RELATING TO LIBRARY SERVICES
PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS OF LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, Resolution 84-25 of the Council of the City of Fort Collins
authorized the Mayor to execute an agreement with Larimer County in order
that the City might continue to provide library services to the residents
of Larimer County; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement was executed by the Mayor; and
b cardholders WHEREAS, it has since been discovered that the number o f car of ers
from the incorporated areas of the county that use the Fort Collins Public
Library is 9 ,677 rather than 18,293, as stated in the Agreement ; and
WHEREAS, it has also been determined that the appropriate fee per
patron used to calculate the total sum to be paid by the County to the City
for providing library services to such patrons should be $8.0554 rather
than $4.80 per patron, as stated in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the above-mentioned changes reduce the total sum due from the
County to the City during the 1984 contract period from $87,806 to $77,952.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to
execute the Resolution amending the Larimer County Library Services Agree-
ment with the City of Fort Collins, which Resolution reflects the above-
mentioned changes, for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 7th day of August, A.D. 1984.
