HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-103-07/03/1984-RECOMMENDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEE TO BE CHARGED TO DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS IN THE URBAN GROWTH A RESOLUTION 84-103 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RECOMMENDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEE TO BE CHARGED TO DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS IN THE URBAN GROWTH AREA WHICH RECEIVE A WAIVER OF THE OFF-SITE STREET IMPROVEMENT PHASING CRITERIA WHEREAS, in August, 1983, the Intergovernmental Agreement for the Fort Collins Urban Growth Area was amended to include a waiver process for the off-site street improvement requirement phasing criteria for in-fill development projects; and WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Agreement for the Fort Collins Urban Growth Area provides for a fee (the waiver fee) to be established in lieu of the off-site street improvement requirement ; and WHEREAS, the waiver fee shall be assessed and collected by Larimer County; and WHEREAS, the methodology used to calculate the Intergovernmental Agreement waiver fee is consistent with the methodology used by the City of Fort Collins to determine its street oversizing fee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT . COLLINS that it be recommended to the Commissioners of Larimer County that the following waiver fees be established: Commercial fee per acre $11,150 Industrial fee per acre $ 5,575 Residential fee per acre $ 2,800 _ Any of the foregoing fees may be reduced by the cost of off-site street improvements required of the Developer.
