OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CREATING A COUNCIL FINANCE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council has informally appointed a Council Finance
Committee since 1975; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to formally create a Council Finance Committee
for the purpose of studying important financial issues and giving staff and
Councilmembers the opportunity to study such issues prior to consideration
of related legislation; and
WHEREAS, Councilmembers Larry Estrada, Gerry Horak, and Bob Winokur
have served as members of the Finance Committee since April 21 , 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That a Council Finance Committee is hereby created, which
shall consist of three Councilmembers. Said Finance Committee shall review
important City financial matters and present findings and recommendations
to the City Council .
Section 2. That the following named Councilmembers are appointed to
serve on the Council Finance Committee until such time as the Council may
decide to make new appointments:
Larry Estrada
Gerry Horak
Bob Winokur
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
17th day of May, A.D. 1988.
