OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
ALLOCATING FEDERAL AID TO URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FUNDS
FOR PROJECT MG 5000(9)
WHEREAS, on the llth day of May, 1989, the City and the Colorado State
Department of Highways entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement
allocating $450,000 of FAUS funding for Project MG 5000(9) ; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has identified various additional traffic
signal projects that are needed to adequately serve the City ' s
transportation system; and
WHEREAS, FAUS funds are currently available in the sum of $86,000 for
an increase in funding under the aforesaid Intergovernmental Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City's 1990 Transportation Division Operational Budget
contains sufficient additional funds to cover any City participation that
may be needed, not to exceed the sum of $2,000, in order to accomplish the
enlarged project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and she hereby is, authorized to enter into an
amendment to that certain Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and
the Colorado State Department of Highways, dated May 11, 1989, for the
purpose of increasing the allocation of FAUS funding for project MG 5000(9)
from Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000) to Five Hundred
Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars ($536,000) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 17th day of April A . 1990_.
