OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PORTION OF TIMBERLINE ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the County of Larimer each have
responsibilities to maintain portions of Larimer County Road 11, also known
as Timberline Road in Larimer County; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County desire to participate together in a
common project for the improvement of Timberline Road, from and including
the intersections of such road from Harmony Road to Prospect Street;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins and the County of Larimer have
negotiated an agreement whereby the City and the County will participate
together in a joint project for the construction of improvements upon
Timberline Road, subject to the conditions for the later appropriation of
monies for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. The City of Fort Collins hereby approves and authorizes
the Mayor to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Larimer County
for street improvements to be made to Timberline Road including street
intersections thereto from Harmony Road to Prospect Street.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of December, 1984.
