OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH RESOURCE CONSULTANTS, INC.
FOR A DROUGHT STUDY
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins passed Resolution
83-184, which directed Water Board and City staff to initiate a drought
hazard study; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the prior year reserves of the Water
Fund and are being appropriated by Ordinance No. 41 , 1984; and
WHEREAS, City staff has negotiated an agreement with Resource Consul-
tants, Inc. for consulting services to conduct the drought study on a time
and direct cost basis not to exceed $47 ,500; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of $20,000 shall be
entered into until approved by the City Council in an open Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreement with Resource Consultants, Inc. for
a study on drought in Fort Collins for a fee not to exceed Forty-Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($47,500) .
Passed and adoped at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 3rd day of April , A.D. 1984.
